Returns and Exchanges Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Web Site!  Please take a few minutes to review these "Returns and Exchanges Terms & Conditions".  Your purchase of products from us constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them. William Laman Furniture.Garden.Antiques reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason, we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.

Returns and Exchanges Policy
Product returns or exchanges must be sent within 7 days of receipt of the merchandise. First, please let us know by sending our staff an email so you can request a Return Authorization Label from William Laman Furniture.Garden.Antiques. A package sent without this Return Authorization Label, may be refused and returned to sender.   

Products that were purchased with the "Free Shipping" incentive will be solely the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping of the merchandise to William Laman Furniture.Garden.Antiques within 7 days of receipt of the order.   

Note: refunds are made in the original form of payment only if William Laman’s Returns and Exchanges Terms and Conditions are followed.

  • Send an email to and add “RETURN LABEL REQUESTED” in the subject line of your email.

  • To ensure your request to Return or Exchange merchandise may be processed, supply the following information:

    • What is your reason for returning or exchanging the merchandise:

        1. Is the merchandise flawed, damaged during shipping, returning a gift, wrong item shipped, not expected, other reason?

        2. Pack and seal your return securely (in the original package if possible) and include the return form. Affix the label squarely onto the address side of the parcel, covering up any previous delivery addresses or barcodes. If tape or similar material is used, it must not cover any part of the label where postage and other information is to be recorded, or where a delivery confirmation barcode exists. Cross out any other addresses and barcodes on the outside of the parcel. Take the parcel to the post office, drop it in the collection box, or give it to a postal carrier.
  • Upon receipt, the return will be processed and the item(s) may be exchanged based on availability or reimbursement will be provided in the original form of payment only as indicated in our terms. An item returned that is not damaged, defective or sent in error will be credited less the original shipping charges.

    Custom & Special Orders
    All Custom or Special Orders require a 50% deposit to initiate.  A quoted lead time is an estimation.  We will do our best to adhere to the lead time provided, but cannot guarantee it. 
    Cancelled orders are subject to a 25% cancellation fee for items not yet in production.  All orders in production are non-cancelable or refundable.  All cancellations must be received in writing and accepted by William Laman Furniture.Garden.Antiques. 

    Please Note: 
     A Special Order is placed specifically on behalf of a customer.  This is considered a non-stock item and as such does not qualify for a return or exchange.    
    The delivery and processing costs are for merchandise pictured and described on William Laman Furniture.Garden.Antiques' web site. Costs are calculated according to the total cost of the merchandise in your order. All prices are expressed in U.S. currency.

    Online (Virtual) Gift Card
    The Online (Virtual) Gift Card purchased on is intended for website use only and cannot be used in the store.

  • During checkout, you will be instructed to enter the Gift Card number.

  • If you are paying with a Gift Card, you cannot choose the amount to be deducted. Only one Gift Card may be used per order.

  • If your order total exceeds the value of your Gift Card, the balance remaining must be charged to a credit card (see below). Your credit card information can be entered on the Payment screen.

  • If your order total is less than the value of your Gift Card, the unused value will remain on the online Gift Card for a future purchase.

  • If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, or if you return the merchandise within the specified timeframe, a credit to your online Gift Card will be applied.


    Any action relating to the use of the Web Site or any transaction with William Laman must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the County of Santa Barbara, California.
