Made from burr birch and padouk wood: a shapely designed highlighting exceptional creftsmanship.  Beautifully carved ebonized apron and feet; rippled bombe shaped front with fine brass hardware.  The bureau top opens to lower supports.  The interior having beautifully carved secret drawers and compartments.  The back compartment slides out to reveal yet more secret compartments.  A masterfully carved work of art.
